Installation and Safety Policy

Neon Luxe signs are decorative electrical products. Safe installation, suitable mounting, correct power and appropriate environmental use are essential.

Included Components

Depending on the order, included components may consist of the sign, acrylic backing, 12V adapter, dimmer, remote control, cord, mounting screws, standoffs, chain, stand or instructions. Only components listed in the order are included.

Mounting Surface

The customer or installer must confirm that the wall or structure can safely support the sign. Supplied general hardware may not suit every surface, including drywall, wood, brick, concrete, tile, metal, glass or temporary event structures.

Professional Installation

Professional installation is recommended for large, heavy, suspended, high, exterior, hardwired or public-area signs and for surfaces such as masonry or glass. The customer is responsible for selecting a properly qualified installer where required.

Electrical Safety

Use only the supplied or approved adapter. Do not cut cords, modify wiring, connect incompatible voltage, overload outlets, cover the power supply, use damaged electrical components, handle connections with wet hands or place the adapter near water.

Hardwiring

Standard signs are generally plug-and-play. Hardwiring must be completed by a qualified electrician where required by law. Unauthorized hardwiring may create a safety risk and affect warranty coverage.

Ventilation and Heat

Do not place the power adapter inside a sealed unventilated enclosure, under insulation, directly beside a heat source or where it may be covered by fabric or decorations. Allow reasonable airflow.

Moisture and Outdoor Use

Indoor-rated products must remain dry and should not be used in rain, heavy moisture, condensation or cleaning-water exposure. Outdoor-rated products must still be installed according to their specific instructions and protected electrical requirements.

Children and Pets

Cords, remote batteries, mounting parts and packaging should be kept away from children and pets. Signs must be mounted securely where they cannot be pulled down.

Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive tools, solvents, harsh chemicals, pressure washing or excess water. Reconnect only after all components are dry.

Moving and Transporting

Disconnect power and support the acrylic backing with both hands. Do not lift a sign by its cord, LED tubing, wires or decorative elements.

Event Installations

Event users must stabilize stands, protect cables from trip hazards, weight outdoor structures, protect products from wind and weather, control public access and comply with venue rules.

Permits and Approvals

The customer is responsible for landlord, condominium, municipal, building, sign, electrical and venue approvals. Neon Luxe does not guarantee approval in every building or jurisdiction unless a specific compliance service was agreed in writing.

Property Damage

Neon Luxe is not responsible for wall, paint, finish, wiring or structural damage caused by customer installation or an unrelated third-party installer, to the extent permitted by law.

Stop-Use Conditions

Disconnect the sign immediately if you notice smoke, burning odour, excessive heat, sparking, exposed wiring, liquid inside electrical components or significant physical damage. Contact Neon Luxe before using it again.
